Three Squared, a group of ten area artists formerly showing as "In the Company of Artists", is preparing for its fourth show featuring a wide variety of media, including painting, collage, porcelain, blown glass, pastel, wearable art, photography, environmental art, lampwork glass, and jewelry. The opening reception takes place the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 27th from 4 to 8p.m. at the Peterborough Historical Society.

The show continues Saturday & Sunday from 11 to 5pm. The ten artists are Kitty Cloud, Leah Kristin Dahlgren, Lulu Fichter, Doug Frank, Marcia Herson, Erick Ingraham, Jordana Korsen, Jane El Simpson, Pashya White and Colette Lucas.

Three Squared, gathers on a monthly basis throughout the year, partly out of members' curiosity about the contents of the haphazard, unplanned, and occasionally fabulous potluck dinners, but also for the sort of nourishment which is provided by the company of other artists. Like the meal plans, the meetings are free form, without agenda, rules, or bylaws. And yet this diverse group whips up a show that is acclaimed for its quality and variety of creative vision.

Unique to Three Squared, as they become more familiar with each other, is the desire to collaborate with each other, to merge techniques, media and expressions, and to begin to stretch their individual creative boundaries. So, this year, several Three Squared artists will present collaborative pieces as a 'show within a show'.
