My methodology in creating collage begins by choosing papers that are visually interesting and combining them with imaginary botanical elements. Many of my papers are hand painted, though I also collect paper from print media. The combination of papers that are close in value or color often require drawn or painted enhancement to create a sense of depth or to define a focal point.
