Pashya White

Pashya White is a seamstress and designer who specializes in sewing silk and velvet, but enjoys working with a variety of fabrics, and frequently incorporates vintage fabrics into her garments and accessories. From 1997-2004, as an active member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, she received four "Best of Creative Sewing" awards at the Craftwear exhibit of the League's annual fair, the "Best in Fiber Award" at the 23rd Members Juried Exhibition, and was featured artist of the month at the League's Hanover store.

Prior to moving to New Hampshire, she was a popular participant in the DeCordova Museum's wearable art show in Lincoln, MA., and, until its recent closing, was a regular exhibitor at the Renaissance Room in her hometown of Peterborough, NH. These days you can visit her fabric-filled studio during the Monadnock Art Tour on Columbus Day weekend, and find Pashya and eight other artists at the Three Squared Artists show and sale on Thanksgiving weekend at the Peterborough Historical Society.
